Susan, I confess that I did DeNoise at the end because that is when I noticed that my processing had created some. It was a small amount that was easily handled. If it is extensive, I would do it early in the process. |

Ella, Another example of your skill at still life and your ability to create interesting compositions. The highlight of the image is the brilliant reflection and I would like to see more of it. |

Hello Susan, what an interesting image that embodies the aloneness of a street performer. I would like to recommend that using layers, that you burn in some shadow to focus the light mainly on the sax player to enhance this. I would agree with the suggestion that some contrast would make the image pop more. |

Ian... this is a lovely image and worth investing time with. I would recommend you straighten & tighten the crop. I would then work on cloning out distractions like TV aerials, wires & security cameras. Maybe enhance the clouds and add contrast or some of CEP effects to dodge & burn the image more. |

Peter...you have good taste and I would agree that this might be the finest falls in Iceland. I happened to photograph the falls from the other side about 30 days after you were there but have not thought to convert to B&W. Your photo of the falls and processing are flawless. I would like to suggest you could improve it further by adjusting the "mottled" look to the clouds that I found distracting. Toning them down with a graduated filter would also enhance the falls further. |

John....you sure did challenge us this month!!! I took your image and using layers I selectively toned down everything except the trunks of the tree. I then took into CEP and added contrast, detail extractor, intensity & curves. While I am not suggesting it is any good, it was fun to try. |
