31 Dec 22 Comment John, I do not want to echo the previous comments you have already acknowledged. Since you are considering reshooting it may I suggest you coinsider a portrait mode from more to the right to create a diagonal line to gone the building a 3D. I would believe that a low sun light form the right would enhance the texture of the building too. Dec 18th
31 Dec 22 Comment Ella, I loved the story behind this image and I am glad you shared it. As a photo, I see it as a picture of some one else's art as opposed to your own creativity. As a suggestion, I placed an elliptical layer and a small vignette to try to give it some atmosphere. It is a lovely figure and I am sure your creativity can bring it to life! Dec 18th
31 Dec 22 Comment Susan, A very well composed and presented image. Your tonal range is perfect and renders so much detail and information. I might suggest placing a layer on the sky and seeing if the noise could be reduced. Dec 18th
31 Dec 22 Comment Ed ...This is photographed well and your processing of the hub caps is excellent. The use of those bricks to keep them in place is interesting and I might suggest it would enhance this already good image further if you worked the detail to make them stand out as a counter point to all that chrome. 31 Dec 22 Comment Ian, very interesting and creative. I would echo the comments about the face as being a change that would greatly enhance the story. I might also very slightly darken the tombstone top side as the strength of the light on it draws my eye away from the actor. Dec 18th
31 Dec 22 Comment Peter, I share your like for Vestrahorn and have enjoyed your many versions. However, this might be your best yet and the composite is excellently done. I particularly admire the overall composition and the placement of the aurora. May I suggest for your consideration that an adjustment to the B&W levels/curves could add some sparkle to the left side of the image which seems a little flat to me. Dec 18th
31 Dec 22 Comment Jack thank you for dropping in and your comments. I did consider the lamp post question but it actually helps balance the top half of the image. I really appreciated your comments that the style gave you room to search and be entertained by the quirky bits.....mission accomplished ! Dec 4th
