Hello Ed.....I do like the subject and technically I think you have the image sharp with balanced curves. While you are in CEP, try out the Tonal Contrast filter as it may add some more texture. From a composition perspective, this is a tough subject to photograph. I played with cropping the window and that did not work and it may have been better to have included a little bit more of it avoid the appearance of an accidental crop |

Ian....you have it all in this one from exposure, sharpness, curves and tonal contrast.
It must have been a lot of fun to have such good lighting and subject |

Hello Ella
This is a lovely composition and very easy to look at for a time due to so much interesting detail.
I downloaded the file and tried a vignette but finally chose to try the Darken/lighten center filter in CEP5 and quite liked the effect.
You might want to consider softening the edges to draw the eye to the center subject. |

Mysterious,moody and mesmeric!
Excellent presentation and processing. I really appreciate the quality of the lighting on the stones versus your management of the light on the foreground and darkened background. Just to the right of the last stone on the right, there is a ripple effect in the sky that might be as a result of the scan. Not sure it can be adjusted but it would make the image perfect. |

Hello John
This image certainly made me think and I feel it has potential.
I recommnd you consider adding an aggressive amount of contrast or texture to the structure to make it more lively. Mostly I would suggest you reconsider the composition. From this angle, my eye calls for it to be more symmetrical and therefore proportionately centred. However, I might try to photograph with the centre line travelling diagonally from bottom right to the point ending in top left.
Obviously the compositional comments are very subjective and offered as ideas rather than as a critique |
