Hello John - These are hard subjects to turn into good images due to the lack of contrast. I would start with some cropping to focus on the subject and then by going back into CEP, I would apply the detail extractor using control points to see if I can make it come alive. Finally some dynamic contrast from the Pro Contrast filter will add to it. |

Hello Peter - The tonal values you have achieved especially on the Sea Stacks are masterful. The composition and processing really create the mood and story of that moment complimented by the excellent processing of the sky. I see no way to improve this further. |

Ian - I do like this image in B&W and concur with the comments by Ella on the dark space. I could go either way with removing the bug or making him a cute highlight of the image. I would also brighten the subject flower slightly to make it more of a focal point. Congratulations on the creativity! |

I think the story in this image is the stones leading to the back almost like a pathway. I might try cropping to a portrait & focus on the right 35% of the image and flip it so the stones curve left to right. |

Hello Ella
A great owl image and I do like his perch. I might consider increasing the width of the gradient filter on the lower side to broaden the "beam of light: with a slight reduction to it's intensity. Also I think a 5% darker shade on the owl's shadow side might help with contrast to create more drama. |

Thank you Ella, I had the illusion the high key finish would help ( I exposed to the right side of the histogram to get the difficult to photography Black Bear details right). I have applied Peter's suggestion below |
