Thanks! Hot dogs are the classic July 4th food. The boy scouts were selling hot dogs during the parade and, of course, I had one. For drinks it is usually cold beer or lemonade. The celebration on the ship must have been fun! |

Yes, I agree. The steeple coming out of the truck is not ideal. This is a time when I should have stayed at that one stop and created a lot of different photographs trying to show the church & steeple (which identifies the town as Stowe), the parade, and the viewers. I finally found this ideal spot as the parade was ending - I wish I'd found that spot at the beginning of the parade! |

Great photograph. I like the interaction between the boy and the dulcimer player. And, I like that the other people in the photo are looking at the boy. The way you lightened the photo works. |

I like the Notice Board and how you cropped the photograph. The two people with their backs to us look like they are in robes so I'm very curious about them - why are they outside in robes? How do folks feel about the feet being cut off? I've always been told not to cut off feet if you're showing leg below the knees. |

I'm struggling to identify the subject of this photograph. I like the lower part, especially the action between the woman in the hat and the man (I'd lighten his face a bit). But, I get confused by the upper section. My eye is not sure what to look at and I'm not sure what is going on. |

I was the only one this month who did not convert to B&W. I agree that the B&W brings out the rainy day. I kept it in color because I liked the red, white & blue and wanted to tell the story of the July 4th celebration. Now I'm torn! |

I really like this photo and agree that B&W is much better. I think the 2 people on the edge of the museum also add interest to the photo. How do you like your R5? I just got one and I really like it. |

Very nice dynamic between the people. And, I like the lady with the sunglasses! I like it in B&W. The background is a little distracting but I'm not sure what you could have done since your fstop is already pretty open and should have given you a shallow depth of field - I wonder if that's the iphone. |
