Thanks for the comments Barbara. I agree with your thoughts about the hand on the left being close to the frame edge. I forgot to remember to shoot wider than I think I need for this shot. |

Hi Albert - I really like the light and shadows plus the lines and angles of the street scene you've captured with this composition. It's a very engaging scene. To my eye, the impact of the photo might be enhanced if the shadows on the people were lifted a bit to show more detail. |

Hi Barbara - What's not to like with this image? The abstract, yet at the same time, somewhat familiar, feathers immediately caught my eye and the natural flow kept me looking and looking to figure out what I was seeing. There are so many patterns and shapes and all in sharp focus. Spectacular! |

Hi Kirsti -You always come up with the most original shots! I think the circuit board adds a lot to the shot. The circuit board kept me looking at the image as I tried to figure out what was going on. There's a lot to see in this seemingly simple image. To me, the background seems a little flat. Perhaps darkening part of the background with a linear gradient from the upper left halfway to 3/4 down to the lower right corner would be worth a try to see if you liked that look. Regardless, congrats on another original image. |

Hi Robert - You picked a good time to grill to be able to see these great sun rays filtering through the trees. I like the composition of the shot and the depth represented by the foliage in front back to the tress in the far background. The image also has a good tonal range. To my eye, the sun rays seem really bright. You may want to consider slightly reducing the brightness of the sun rays and see if more subtle rays are to your liking. |

Hi Douglas - This is a nice documentary photo of the Ivy Road street sign. Great use of depth of field and contrast to isolate the subject from the background. I think Kirsti's suggestion was good and your edited image, reflecting that change, is even stronger. |
