Hi Kirsti - What an original, creative shot you've made! I would not have come up with the connection to the toxic discussion atmosphere in social media but knowing that was the thought behind it makes me see how perfectly it fits together. I think the image looks great in B&W and have no suggestions for modifications to consider. That said, I think the original, red version of this shot reflect the toxic atmosphere theme you laid out even more strongly. Great job! |

Hi Barbara - What a beautifully composed image you've made. I love the way the image has been processed. The photo makes me think of a pencil drawing. You've got a great tonal range and there's definitely a storytelling element to the shot. I have no suggestions to offer. Great shot! |

Hi Al - What a beautiful scene you've captured. The sky you added really helps make this image impactful as does the imposing mountain, looming over the city. When I look at this image my eye does tend to linger on the dark foliage in the foreground. You may want to consider increasing the exposure a bit in that area. Regardless, a beautiful scene! |

Hi Robert - I can see what attracted you to this scene with the contrasting horses standing eye to eye. I think the composition works and the conversion to B&W looks great. I agree with Kirsti's comment about removing the post. To my eye, the white stuff in the foreground, at the horses' feet, and in the background is distracting. You may want to consider cloning it out. You may also want to consider reducing the exposure on everything but the horses just a bit, to get a little more separation of the subject. Great job keeping details in both horses! |
