Thanks Albert! I especially like your "Waiting for Godot" observation. That would be a perfect title for this. |

Hey Stephen - I read your initial critique a little too quickly! Here's a new version with the chairs fixed. I also processed this differently than the first version and I like the somewhat "cleaner" window frames. Thanks again for the comments! |

Here's a version without the bottom cross-member and I do like the change. I'm interested to hear what you and others think. |

Thanks for your comments Stephen. I'll try a version without the bottom cross-members and see what that looks like. |

Hi Kirsti - My initial thought before you posted the subsequent edited versions was the first change you made. However, I actually think the second edit, showing just a little more of the trees is much better than what I had proposed. Great image! |

Very nice shot of this herd of horses. All the horses are sharp and the water droplets frozen in the air help reinforce all the action represented by the river crossing. I did notice my eye being drawn to the lighter strip of land (or road?) towards the top of the image. One suggestion would be to darken that strip to make it a little less noticeable. Another suggestion would be to consider adding a vignette. |

Great capture! I think the strength of this image is the separation of the subjects from the background with depth of field. The rhinos are perfectly sharp and really stand out. My only suggestion would be to consider a slight increase in the exposure to brighten the shot just a bit. |

Great silhouette! I appreciate your question about the background possibly being too busy. I didn't find it off-putting at all but found my eye drawn to the tree on the right. I tried a version cropping most of the tree on the right out (close to the edge of the umbrella) and thought that might be a suggestion to consider. |

Without benefit of seeing the overall setting of this image I didn't have the same interpretation that you did Ed. I thought the image conveyed a great story about parent-child relationships. Here in this fascinating setting were a dad and son completely focused on some hidden (to us)detail in the water, completely oblivious to someone taking their photo. To me, the sepia tone speaks to the timelessness of these types of relationships. I don't have any suggestions for changes. Nice shot! |

Lines and curves - great black and white image! My suggestion would be to try to increase the contrast to make the museum "pop" even more against the sky. Also, there's a reflection in the doors that is really dark and if it could be lightened to see some detail, that might be worth a look too. |
