What a wonderful wildlife capture! Very interesting subjects, good depth of field and subjects are sharp. I think Ed's removal of the tree helps. A vignette may be worth a look too. Regardless, congratulations on a great shot. |

Thanks for the suggestion on making the dancer's face a little lighter and the legs a little darker. That was a definite improvement to the image in terms of bringing more focus to her face. |

I also think there's a lot to like in this image. Like Robert, I think the sepia tone and framing by the the rope works well as does the white vignette noted by Kirsti. I have no suggestions of my own to offer but it does seem that Kirstie's thought about making the young lady's face more dreamlike would be something worthwhile. Great job! |

I think this image is very well composed and captures an absolutely beautiful scene. You might consider adding some contrast to the mountains and making a subtle exposure increase to the town. You might also consider removing the buoy in the lower right part of the shot. |

The image has a nice tonal range and is a pleasing black and white. If I were to make a suggestion it would be to consider cropping. I think the left edge of the shot (staircase, speakers?, statue arm) detracts from the grandeur of the main subject. You might even consider cropping above the rows of chairs to right below the seated people to really bring the viewers eye to the statue. A vignette might also help keep the viewers eye on the subject. |

I think you've done an excellent job of making an image that fit your goal of finding the jewelry glowing mysteriously in the moonlight. The blue toning sets the mood and the diffused glow completes the picture. It's difficult for me to find much to suggest. I did try a version that SLIGHTLY pulled down the highlights on the jewelry and I thought the resulting subtle glow worked but don't know if it's any better - just different. (Really liked your Group 15 image too!) |
