Gene- its definitely not for everyone's taste. I enjoy creating different effects with the iphone, which is why I find using one so compelling. |

Very nice perspective on this shot. I agree with Gene that the sky may be slightly oversaturated and could be taking attention away from the main subject a bit. You could try desaturating it a bit to see how it looks. You could bring the highlights down a bit (the upper part of the curtain) and use texture/clarity to increase contrast. |

I'm with Jack on this. I like the original also. You had good lighting and a good subject. I really like the repeating flag patterns and diminishing perspective they form. Some pictures don't need embellishment to be good. The horizon might need a little straightening, but that's very minor. I think this was well seen. |

Hi Belinda- what you see is what you get with this ICM image. This is the original. So, when you are in the field and taking these types of shots, its all experimental to try and get the effect you want. I did take several of these and thought this was the best of the series (for my taste). ICM is very subjective. I guess I could have taken a static image of the same scene and blended it to get the effect you are looking for, but that isn't the intent of a pure ICM image and not possible in this case. |
