Sorry, but didn't see your response until now. Night mode doesn't turn your image into B&W by itself. However, this image was mainly black and white to start with. I did convert to black and white in post using the native iphone editing app. |

Gene- I did try some edits according to your suggestions, but I found that they made the image look more like a drawing instead of a photo. IMHO, I like the image better with the original texture (and rough edges). But, I do appreciate the input as always. |

Hi Kieu-Hahn,
Very cool sculpture. I like the choice of BW. Everything is in focus from front to back. The exposure looks good, I'm just not sure if the dark part of the sculpture had any features that we can't see because the upper 1/2 is dark (I'm assuming its a shadow). Just curious if there were any other perspectives/angles you could have shot this from to accentuate the size or features of the sculpture? Maybe a person standing next to it to give us scale? |

Hi Pat,
Really like the perspective of the building you captured. You've taken a pretty cool looking building to begin with and turned it into something more special by applying a filter. The colors are great. Nicely done. |

Jack,
Very cool shot of "white sand." I like the diminishing perspective of the lines in the sand as you go from front to back. The right side of the image looks like you could have lost some detail in the shadow area. Would you think about cropping that side out if you couldn't recover the details? Also, the bright areas at the top of the image (in the sand) looks a little blown out- but that may be recoverable in post. Where was this? |

HI Ruth,
I like the close up here of the bunny's. Makes for a fun holiday shot. I like the blue background which isn't distracting. The only change you could try is to crop in from the left side and top a bit more (you've already cropped off some of the plants, why not bring it in even closer). Just a thought. |

HI Gene,
Nice capture of a lovely countryside town in Sicily. I like the perspective from high up. I also like the detail in the buildings that can be appreciated because the picture is in focus from front to back. To me (and I know this is personal opinion), I would crop out some more of the sky as the buildings and old city are what I appreciate most in the picture. I don't know what was on the left side of the picture, but if you could include a little more of the scene on that side it might enhance the picture also. |

Hi Belinda,
I really like the black and white version of this architectural aspect. It gets us to focus on the details in the image. I'm not familiar with mirror lab so I don't know how you created the effect, but it makes for an interesting image. My eye seems to go back and forth and I find more things to look at as I scan the image. Well done! |
