More...on the Air2 S if you rotate the drone to its side it will stop but not instantly so hang on tight! |

National Monuments -- here is my understanding -- you can fly in National Monuments with two important exceptions. If there happens to be a wilderness area inside a national monument than you can't fly in the wilderness area but otherwise ok in the rest of the monument.
Note in this case if you took off from the national monument but outside the wilderness area then you could fly over the wilderness area. This would obviously be limited to the range of your drone.
And a few national monuments are administered by the Park Service instead of the BLM You should check the rules for theses but in general the Park Service won't let you fly drones in in areas they administer. |

Nicely composed! And the dodging/burning was effective
The blues seem way too blue. Maybe a WB adjustment?
And perhaps a stronger center of interest might be helpful |

Nice spot and I like the contrast between the pools and the red rocks.
My main reaction is the colors could have been more impactful. More contrast and shot in less harsh light?

I like how you shot the face level. And the light is great
Yes, the sky seems problematic. I see areas of blowout and other anomalies. I think sticking closer to the original capture might have been better
Noisy HDR results -- I can't help. Are your images shot in RAW? |

Nice capture, and great color. Compositionally I thought it was a bit of a struggle. The stream is a nice leading line but it just leads out of the image, not to anything. And the top where the stream ends is too bright.
The stream and the tree compete with each other
In post the shadows could have been brighter.
Somehow I think this scene might have been better captured if shot straight down? |

When I was in Indonesia last year the guide was a drone expert (I learned a lot from him), and I was shamed into learning how to catch the drone. I avoid it if at all possible but I have done it, and still have all 10 fingers at the natural length.
The drone in the picture looks really hard to catch -- no way to get your hands around the fuselage.
Since the image is about the person and the drone I think it is good as is. |
