A couple of things. Notice how the left top edge of the water tank exactly touches the horizon? I have a photo friend who calls this "impinging" and it usually unhelpful compositionally. It's better if the tank is clearly above the horizon or below it.
From the image you subsequently posted the tank has a lot of interesting detail on it and I liked the closeup better.
I like what you did in post. |

Of course it takes courage to get further and further over the water but I would have gotten closer to the "island" and moved it more into a corner. If you had been closer perhaps there were some details on the island that might have been interesting? |

I see you! And brilliant fall colors. I can't tell if you were already at the 400 ft limit, but maybe higher, so you could have moved the "x" off center and picked some of the denser colors on the edges? Or lower so the intersection of the "x" is more clearly the subject? |

Very nice image! There are no do overs for Iceland photos, but it might have been better with a little more room around the cone, e.g., if the drone were further away. |

You have to love it! I may try this on December 24 or 25. Or near the January full moon. Very approximately how far away was the drone from you?
Just fyi, the moon moves through its disc about every five minutes.
I might have darkened the sky just a bit. |

I got a message that the video is private. Bummer I was really looking for the footage when you flew the drone through windows in the building :-)
At the risk of repeating last month's comment I thought the crop was a little tight. Otherwise I thought the image was great.
I've stopped in Baker a number of time to photograph in the Mojave Scenic Preserve and the Ibex sand dunes. I often feel like I've driven into a Mad Max set.

Lou, thanks. I go by the DJI warnings which I think begin to happen at around 20+mph.
Scale...it's big probably several hundred feet high and I am around a half mile away from the top. |
