Hi Lisa, a very interesting and compelling image.
I thought your crop was a little tight..perhaps halfway between the original image and the final image???
Your dad notwithstanding I would have take out the road/trucks

Hi Don, as others have commented, definitely less sky. And I might have tried to establish a stronger main subject by brightening some aea in the middle and burning down the corners. |

Hi Richard, welcome to the group!
Very nicely composed and exposed, with a great sky and cliffs in the background. Unless you want the image as a travel or other photo-realistic shot I would have cloned out the buildings, especially the ones on the right center edge.
By way of introduction, I've flown a drone on two different trips in Iceland and the much lesser amount of restrictions make it an enjoyable experience (but not ht ewinds and weather!) |

Hi alex, nice going. I have often thought about flying down there and you have inspired me to actually do it.
Perhaps a little closer and, as Drema pointed out, a different time of day so you are not aiming into the sun. And/or lower and use the road as a line leading to the barn.
Just for grins here is an image of inside the ruins of the dairy I shot last year. |

Very nice image!
I might have brightened the middle a little and burnt down the area by the crane. And if you were really bold (easy for me to say as it's not my drone) flown closer to the crane and made that the center of your image |

What a great spot, and day.
I see this as more about the fall color, not the church, and think the zoom amount was just right.
As someone else has already suggested perhaps just a little less sky since it is blank, without clouds
The spot where the road shows up could possibly be cloned out????
