85 Apr 23 Reply Both. I've been there four times and two were guided -- in the winter and then to the Icelandic highlands when/where self guiding isn't practical -- and two self guided. This one was self guided. Apr 19th

Possibly crop down from top some as I don't think the empty blue is adding too much to a great image. Also to my eye that would begin to move the central mountain and buildings out of the center and emphasize the boat more.		 Apr 12th

I would have considered cropping down form the top to get rid of the bright area. Or using a mask and darkening it.

I love the mood, and yes I like the color in the sky. I think the issue compositionally is there is indeed a very nice leading line, but it just doesn't go anywhere. Here is a thought for next time, although I don't how far away from your launch point you were. Possibly put yourself, or a friend, in the image to give it something more? I think a person coupled with the great mood would really work well.		 Apr 12th

I have seen images shot from the base, and having some (limited) skills in this area I did consider trying to climb down. But after looking it over I concluded the footing was way too treacherous.		 Apr 3rd
