The DJI Air2S is a great choice. Works just fine and the 20mp 1 inch sensor will produce decent images. Same size sensor as in the Sony RX100 series, for example. The base drone is $1000, but you are going to want to spring for the kit which is $1300
If you are planning to sue the drone mostly for photography/videography I wouldn't bother with the FVP googles
I won't be able to respond to messages on tis forum until mid next week due to travel |

At least for folks without a commercial license you can't fly higher than 400 ft. I don't know if a commercial license lets you fly higher
The Air 2S allows a five shot exposure bracket and I always have it turned on. There is more than enough to worry about when taking pictures with drones and I don't want to add fiddling with exposure to the list. I don't know about other models
I flew fixed wing RC for 25 years before "retiring" from that hobby 3 years ago. How many models did you crash during your life in that hobby? :-) |

Thanks so much. There is a well maintained 1 mile trail out to the crater and then you can climb to the top. In a another image I launched the drone from the top of the rim and took a selfie.
DJI Air2S. Lisa is using the same drone.
No shooting modes. I just take straight up RAW images.
Drone was close to the limit, around 350 ft |

This is a very interesting image. The empty theme park in the snow to me evokes all kinds if emotions, even dystopian ones.
I wish I could see more of the roller coaster, maybe from the image you mentioned you shot a while back. If the angles were right a low sun coming thru the structure would cast a great shadow which could probably only be captured via drone |
