Hi Rich, not an easy capture as I can attest to that. You've done a great job in getting both the bee and the flower in focus. The bee in flight, pollen on its legs and the beautiful catch light in its eye is a terrific story - on its way to collect more pollen. Just lovely as it is.
The eyes of the bee are the most important part to focus on and you've done it well. |

Hi Ingrid, do agree with the others. Leaves have their own beauty and you've demonstrated that. Well done. |

Hi Kamal, I agree with the others and what a terrific job in seeing a vertical composition of your capture. It certainly made it a stronger and more appealing composition. Well done. |

Hi Bob, I too like the original especially how the lovely light glow comes through the petals making the yellow part of the flower stand out.
I also like your "softie" interpretation and my only comment is that the original glow has been subdued. So you may want to consider bringing that light just into the center of the flower so that it becomes the focal point of interest. I've done an example, still keeping it all soft as in your original. |
