Hi Brad, thanks for your feedback. I used two cloud images as textures, one to create the dark background for the fence and the other to put "natural" light on the animals. I prefer to use cloud images as a way of creating vignettes. |

Tom, you've achieved your objective in creating a futuristic and moody image. Well done. |

Brian I agree with Hazel on her account of your image. I too find the texture, colours and the way the light falls on the water drops very pleasant. I wholeheartedly agree with you in finding beauty and creativity in all things. I don't think I could add anything of any value to your image. Well spotted. |

Hi Hazel, your image lends itself to be a lovely abstract and I've thought I give it a go just using gradients to bring out the shapes, textures and colours of the earings. There's a myriad of colour combinations to choose from. Here's my take. |

Hi Brad, I like the concept of your image and for me it has a surreal feel to it. Personally, I think the image could do with a bit more atmosphere to create a sense of mystery. I've taken the liberty of adding more fog to come from the top of the trees for uniformity and added a light blue/green gradient. I like Brian flipping it horizontally but I don't mind it the way you have it coming from the right. |

Hi Brian, thank you for your kind and thoughtful feedback on Kangaroo composite. My thoughts about the duck was as yours, that it was coming over to see what was going on. As a matter of fact, I had another duck that looked like it might have been talking to the main character but decided not to include it. The idea behind the fence was to suggest that the enclosure might be the cause of the depression as kangaroos run wild and free. Taking the duck out does work but I thought it added to the notion that "we're all in it together" that is in the enclosure. I like your take on it as well. |

Bob, another one of your creative abstracts. I find the top left square of the frame the most interesting. Here you have the swirl starting on the right side of the frame and working its way throughout capturing all of the floating red flowers giving the impression for me at least, wind swept flowers. It looks like a vortex of flowers.
It's interesting how the Topaz filter separated some of the flowers and kept others in their bunch. I've taken the liberty of cropping the image to show what I saw. |

Hi Rich, thank you for answering my question and although I don't have a lightbox, I will try placing flowers on some glass with a light underneath it and see what I get out of it. It's so good to hear about how others go about creating their work. |

Hi Ingrid, this is just gorgeous, really like the complementary colours of the background to the flower and the added bonus is that striking border. Like Bob, I don't think I could add anything of any value. |

Hi Rich, I too like both images and the composition is flowing as you would find them in their natural environment. Just curious did you use a white background board to capture these flower as, like Ingrid, I would imagine that the natural background in your garden would be very busy? Overall, a lovely output. |

Hi Kamal, what a lovely capture and well spotted. For me there's a story there, is the fly there as a pollinator or just landed for a feed?
Marti's edit is great in removing the distractions. Overall, well done. |

Hi Doug, a creative way of representing a rose, especially, I like how you've captured the curves of the petals and would say that I like the main image entitled Rose Petals the best. Out of the three "Originals" I like No.2 Nicely done. |

Hi Marti, agree with the others, this very unusual and a beautiful representation of a Amaryllis. Also thank you for sharing your process on how to created something similar. |

Hi Marti, thanks for your feedback, I must admit I didn't notice those two spots on the leaf. Thanks for taking the time to remove them and do agree that the leaf looks neater. |
