Hi Bob, again the colours are lovely on this image. I'm with Jacob on this as I tend to wonder around the image and looking for a focal point or main subject. If the grass and the yellow flowers are the main points, then I would darken the background to make them stand out a bit more. Would you consider cropping the right side as it's more of an empty space compared to the left side of the image? I've taken the liberty of darkening at about 50% opacity in Multiply blend mode and croped it from the right. My thoughts. |

Thanks Jacob, I appreciate your comments. I did blur the cloud texture, I did that so there's just a hint of it in the background. In reviewing it, I could tilt the texture to flow in line with the petals to start from the top left corner to the bottom right corner and that would make it look like it's flowing in the same direction as the petals.

Hi Bev, thanks for your comments, it's apprecaited. I can see that you've slighted tone down the highlights on one of the petals and look more subtle, thanks. |

Hi Kathryn, thanks for your feedback, much appreciated. All very good ideas and will explore them. I mainly wanted to capture the movement of the petals in the wind but will try to blur them a tad at the edge. I had the bottom flower a bit up intitally but it looked like it was competing with the main flower. It's only there to give some tone to the dark bottom part of the flower. |

Hi Bob, thanks for your feedback. I did blur the cloud texture that's probably why it's not so visible and in addition added another on top of that for the colour. In reviewing it, I can see that I could have moved the cloud texture to be in line with the flow of the petals, that is at an angle from top left corner to bottom right corner. I wanted the bottom flower to only add to the colour at the bottom as it looked a bit bare. |
