Tom, I almost at the stage where I'll have to photograph myself for some composites instead of asking family and friends. It's your wonderful creations that's motivating me. Another great image and well executed. The light bulb works well as it's the major light source for the image. |

Brian, the strong colours, the frame and the dahlia make this a lovely "abstract" image. Well done. |

Hi Henry, I like your concept and I have seen others attempt to convey the ever expansion of human habitation in an image. You might consider the idea of "double exposure" where you put the landscape or part of it, like the building through the people's bodies. I haven't attempted this concept but as I understand it's not hard to do. You might want to have a look at it, there are numerous tutorial on You Tube one being: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOYz669WNpU

Brad, a nice, creative image and agree with Tom about a drop shadow for the dog to anchor it. Does give the impression of speed. |

Hi Tom, in retrospect, thanks for your feedback, I do agree about the "light source" and I will experiment to see what outcomes I get. Apologies for not responding sooner. |

Thanks for your comments, Brad and apologies for not responding sooner being for personal reason. I did this photo because the young man sitting there, suffers from depression. He was willing to participate. |

Kathryn, I too like using textures in my work and you have a done a terrific job in transforming the dahlias in a piece of artwork. Your choice of colours and textures work well. |

Again a lovely image and you're technique in transforming a flower into an unusual monochrome is admired. I can't add any comments but can only admire it. Well done. |

Hi Syed, you have turned the lovely image of the dragon flowers into a piece of artwork. I can't add anymore to what has already been said. The white petals with the yellow center work so well and your "paint brush stroke" is just right. The smaller strokes work well. Well done. |

Hi Doug, again a beautiful image of a leaf that would normally be considered dull. You brought the main interests in this leaf and for me it's the colours and textures. Well done on stacking 47 images. I use photoshop and will look at Helicon as a stacking plug in. Well done, it's a beautiful image. |

Jacob, what a lovely, simple composition and the colour of the flower with its white edge is really nice. I like that you left the leaf to complement the colour and add to the composition. Very pleasing and well done. |

Hi Bob, you've done a great job in separating those flowers from what is a "busy" image and focusing just on the flowers in the foreground. As has already been comments, the background tones are strong and do compete with the flowers in focus. I think Doug's edit works well as would either a 15 pixel blur with field blur in PS or a paler tone of the pink that would complement the image. Overall lovely image. |

Hi Kathryn, thanks for the advice, and you're right, a more focus edit would have been more appropriate and avoided the blown out raindrops. I didn't pay attention as my thoughts were to showcase the raindrops more than the rose. Another viewpoint is always worthwhile. Thanks. |

Hi Bob, I don't mind you editing my image and I'm glad that you pointed out about the raindrops. Honestly, I didn't notice and not paid attention to it. I do like your soft image and thanks, I'll be more aware in the future. Cheers |
