Lisa, the colours in this image are very striking, the orange and red of the car lights through the highway are particularly visually appealing as it leads the viewer to the background and that wonderful sunset. |

Brian, I've not tried ICM and having seen yours, I'm inspired to give it a go. I don't think I can add to what has already been said about the image except that colour tones work well. The blue in the foreground is very strong and I'm drawn to it leading me to the two figures who, as it feels to me, are like ghosts drifting through the landscape. |

Hi Tom, I agree with the others, a well thought out composite and mono choice suits it well. Really nice tonal contrast and all the elements work well including your cat on the right leading the viewer from the foreground to the small window light in the background. Almost as if the light is guiding you back. |

Hi Henry, I think this is one of your best and adding the rectangle shapes gives it a lovely abstract feel to this image. I do agree with the other comments that it needs a stronger focal point and my suggestion would be to select a colour in your image and create a border around one shape, e.g. a strong yellow and place that around the green shape, a green around the yellow etc or colours of your choosing that would complement the colours. I think this would create a focal point; being the shapes in your image. I really like it. The intersecting shapes will also stand out more; they could also be a solid colour. |

Hi Brad, I like the clarity of this image and the story you're telling is evident, a symbolic transition from one part to another, whatever that may be. The choice of using a horse is also symbolic in so as it can represent "freedom." Your composite is very well done, believable and well blended, it looks like the horse is part of that landscape. I won't go into the what retirement means, I think that topic has been well covered by Brian and Henry. Cheers. |

Hi Henry, thank you for your comments. I enjoyed putting it together, especially taking my grandson's ideas and trying to development them. He's a fan of the transformers series of movies and the bumblebee is his toy about 5inches tall all up. I photographed it with a macro lens to get the scale. |

Thank you for your kind feedback Brian. I do agree about the red car (Optimus Prime according to my eldest grandson) it's a bit distracting but it's coming to "help" - they did enjoy seeing themselves in the "scene" especially the eldest. |

I understand about the red car, the colour is eye catching for sure. The car is "Optimus Prime" and it is coming to help Bumblebee according to my eldest grandson! It was his suggestion that Optimus Prime (?) needs to be included. Thanks for your feedback. |
