Lisa, I love this image, it works well and the colours are just right. Very pleasing to look at. |

Tom, I like the concept, it does have a feel that you're drawn into a vortex and the cat beckoning you to follow as is the egret. Well done. |

Thanks for your feedback Tom, there is a bit of motion blur and I couldn't find a level that I was happy with. I might try the blur gallery in PS.

Thanks Henry for your feedback. That was the idea to combine the feel of Autumn. We're in mid winter down here in the Southern Hemisphere. |

I tend to agree with you, I do think they could be lifted more into the sky. I didn't notice the noise in the upper left, so I'll have a closer look. Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Brad,
I take your point. There is a bit of motion blur on the leaves and they probably could do with a bit more. It was hard to find the right balance. I did try with fewer leaves but it didn't tell the story as I had in my mind. I'm going to try a tighter crop and see how that looks. Thanks for your suggestions. |

Hi Brad,
Nice composition using the foreground leaves as a frame to the leaves in the background. I do find the foreground leaves dominant due to their size and so would suggest cropping the image to bring more focus to the background leaves and some from the bottom to give it a strong V look. I would also brighten the bird to bring its yellow colour out.

Hi Henry,
Really unusual image. I find the colours too strong and both compete for viewer's attention. Having said that, I truly like what you have done with the background, very nice patterns. I believe that this image would be stronger if it was converted into mono. I would suggest that you use the black and white adjustment layer in photoshop with normal blending mode. Move the sliders to make the background slightly darker so that you get more separation between the two. Then use the gradient map adjustment layer to give the image some depth. The flowers will be more defined and stand out from its background.
