Thanks Tom, you're right a gradient over the little girl would work well. |

That's a good idea Henry. I'll give that a go. |

Thanks Lisa, good points. Will work on the highlights on the faces. The thing that looks like fingers is actual a wall shelf that I put in there to give the impression of depth in the room. Without it the little girl looks stuck to the wall! I'll need to take better photos of shelves. |

Hi Tom, my opinion is one hand is strong enough to tell the story. Unless your intention is to have multiple people metamorphosis out of the orb.

Agree Brad, only noticed the little girl's brightness after posting, especially her face. |

Hi Tom,
I like how you have put all these elements together; they work well. A personal prference is that I would like to see another lightning bolt coming out of your middle finger, that would give it a nice triangle feel of three lightning bolts. Like the green tones

Hi Brad,
I think your choice with the surfer is a good one. He does stand out as the eye is drawn to his white surfboard. The choice of flower is also good as you can imagine the surfer leaping from the bottom petal. Maybe add some of the water in the bottom petal as it would tie the surfer to the flower.

Hi Henry, I think you've executed this very well and it works, for me at least, because of the contrast of colours and also the colours are complementary. The only minor point is the yellow flower, it has lost definition and detail. You probably can use the burn tool at very low opacity say 10% to bring out the outline of the outer petals. That might work. Nicely done. |
