Thanks for the comments. Just beyond the the end of the very slightly cropped image was an irrigation canal - Then a miscellaneous road with some vehicles. I cropped it down to the interesting bits I hope!
For what it's worth - I was told that the grocery store "Spring Mixes" were planted like this - because then they could pick it and pack it ready to go. Not sure if that was true or not - but almost sounds logical! |

Pleasing image and reminds me of cold winter days in the Midwest. The building in the back right draws me in now that Sherry pointed it out. On my first look - didn't even notice it.
I would love to see this taken from a lower perspective as well - perhaps from 2 or 3 feet above the ground to add more of the immediate foreground?

Very nice silhouette of the tree - and fun story to go with it. Completely agree with Sherry that I thought at first glance it was over a large body of water. 2n look - Found the horizon. Would have loved to see more of the lower edge bringing me in to the picture and differentiating the horizon - but that is just my preference. I really like the dark and sinister looking sky!

Glad that someone else joined me in the different road club this month! I love the lines and crisp contrast presented in the photo. The perfect symmetry leading up the center of the photo grabs you and brings your right in to the construction ahead. Great shot! |

I find the pastel colors of the morning Florida sky very pleasant and a great representation of of the mornings in the rivers and lakebeds there. The Cypress trees and Spanish moss evoke the sound of the birds and frogs croaking and welcoming the day. Very nice capture! |
