I appreciate you sharing the struggles you went through to capture this. Too often we see an image and think it was easy to capture because the result is so great, but, seasoned photographers can usually guess at the hard work that goes into getting that "masterpiece". Despite your criticism of this photo, I got the story! Cold! But maybe melting, and taken in a beautiful place. |

A wonderfully strong image! I love all the contrasts in it: white foreground against the colored mountains, smooth soft sand against the rocky, rough mountains. The color gradations are really terrific too! What a great place to capture captivating images. |

This is such a calming image, I can see why you printed it and gave it a "pride of place" in your living room. I think the colored image is a stronger representation of the place and time of year that you captured this. The blue cast sure makes it moody. I agree the reflections give the image so much depth. Very nice! |
