Marie, I am just a little bit jealous you have such a cool looking duck! It looks a bit regal. I like the suggestions that Bruce made as well. |

Adrian, what an incredible view. I want to be there and walk through the purple and the trees into the field with the ponies. The image emits such tranquility. I used a little dehaze and cropped just a bit more to create more of a panorama and drawing me in closer to the ponies and the scene through the trees. I, too, use my phone for landscape photos! |

Beautiful photo, looks like a painting. I like how the bear is framed by the shrubs with the snow falling gently around him. The bear appears to be looking straight at you with such gentleness in its eyes. |

Thanks so much for the thoughtful response. I do shoot in raw and did not use a tripod. I actually like this photo for its uniqueness and the fact that the hummingbird's eye and beak are framed by the petals of the flower. I have attached a more traditional photo taken the same day as well. I appreciate the tips for future reference if I am photographing more of a created scenario as you have described. I like the idea of a smaller F stop to enhance the bokeh. I process mostly in lightroom, but will sharpen with topaz. I also have yet to figure out how to resize in lightroom so that is always done in photoshop. I look forward to learning more from this group. Thanks again for the warm welcome. |

Mary, what a neat experience for you. I don't recall seeing an olingo when I was in Costa Rica either. I like the clarity in its eyes! I am not sure there is anything I would suggest in addition to the edits and processing you made. Very nice image. |

I absolutely love this shot! I'm still fairly new to photography and providing feedback, but I don't see how it can be improved. It's sharp and the colors are phenomenal. I can imagine these two birds are arguing about territory. Would love to know what happened next. |
