20 Sep 22 Reply Thanks Shirley. This is an intentional break from the "rules" and as you very rightly say, it will not be as effective if the placement of the viewing deck / my wife's image elsewhere. Thanks!

20 Sep 22 Comment Angela, Very well crafted image. Your post processing has enhanced an already good image to something even better. The subtle brush strokes adds depth to the image. Though I am not a big fan of key lines / strokes, it has worked very well in this image. Great job! Sep 9th
20 Sep 22 Comment Fred, very good concept and I really admire the efforts gone into getting the required elements for the composite, and your PS skills that made the final image. If I may suggest, try some selective exposure control on the elements / subject you want to highlight to direct the viewer eyes. Great job! Sep 9th
20 Sep 22 Comment Lovely job Bob. I agree with Angela on the green patch. Well Done! Sep 9th
20 Sep 22 Comment Lovely monochrome and a great shot! Well done! Sep 9th
20 Sep 22 Reply Thanks Angela for the comment. Negative space was intentional to give the sense of freedom. When placing my wife's picture, I have actually made it larger than it should be, comparing the height of the guard rails on the viewing deck.

Having re-looked at the image, yes, I agree with your point on seeing three parts. There is a drop of about 15 feet from the paved area to the level of the sea. This creates the first illusion. The second, I should have blurred the line where the sea meets the mountains, and perhaps added some soft brush strokes. Thanks for pointing out that...

Thanks again.
