Thanks Kelly! The NIK collection is good. Haven't used them all yet, but like Color Efex Pro quite a bit |

Neil, the clouds are amazing and the shadows from them only add intrigue! I like how you included only a sliver of the grass in this composition.
A few small things I might have tried editing. While the clouds are the main focal point, I'm wanting to see a bit more on the horizon, perhaps by opening up the shadows a bit? I'd also like to see a bit more details at the top of the frame in the clouds, I really like the dark, but think if they were lighten just a bit more, it would make the image even more powerful. |

Hi Ed,
Nice shot -- it really is luck, but you were there and made it happen. That bird was posing for you!
When I look at your original's, there seems to be a bit more contrast that might benefit your final image. I know you were trying to get the right bottom in full on your crop, however my eye wants to see a bit more on the left side of the frame to give the bird more room looking out the frame. I also like the little flower to the left and to me, this crop seems to flow a bit better. I didn't clone the top, or work on the colors of the flowers, but wanted to quickly do a few things to show you my thoughts.

Hi Mark,
Now it makes sense with all the edits you first mentioned! I was wondering, hence the ask! I think the time you spent was worthwhile. I like how the light moves you through the image just as water would! It doesn't look over processed to me and like how you worked the light.
For some reason, I keep going back to the original and liking the red/orange-ish leaves. I think they help with eye circling around the image. |

Paul, love the reflection here, I was wondering how it was that color, interesting it's from below the water! I'm guessing you used a fast shutter speed to freeze if there was any movement, if so, nice choice. Nice picture! |

I can see why you like this, it has a nice flow to it. Can you share the original? Will be interesting to see how you ended up here. I like the spot of light coming through and can imagine the work you did you highlight it. Did you try a vignette to see if that would help bring the focus more to the light rays? I find it interesting that on quick glance most leaves look in focus (good job) and like the movement with the bunch on the bottom right. |

I like it - A bit stronger I think! Take a look at keeping all the bottom and eliminating more of the snow. If you clone/content aware the sticks in the foreground. If you are up to it, I'd look at cloning out the tree reflections on the left too to see how it might look? |

I like your edits here and they aren't over-processed to my eye. Did you look at it in a 16x9 ratio to crop out a bit of the snow? I think that might bring the focus to the reflection even more. Love the reflection, nice picture! |

Kelly, love the composition and lines from the trunk leading to the leaves. If by flares you mean sun stars, try shooting at f/16 to f/22. Curious if you were on the ground taking this? Nice image! |
