Thanks Kelly. Really like the idea of seeing how the tractor would look red in the black and white. I'm not great in PS, so will have to practice with that! |

Awe, thanks Ed! Excited to belong to the group. I'm very hard on my own work and am excited for any and all feedback. I'm not the most experienced processor with Lightroom and PS, but working on it, so any thoughts on that are appreciated as well. |

Thanks Darcy! I had to make it pop in both the color and B&W with a few radial filters to draw the attention to it. |

Thanks Paul! I really liked this barn and am always trying to work on my composition. Shooting digital has made me lazy and I sometimes tend to take a quick shot and move along. On this one, I really looked around before taking the shot to try to get the one I wanted, thus framing it with the trees.
Thanks for the welcome to the group! Looking forward to seeing everyones work! |

Hi! Put together a lot of my images from California for friends and family. Was certainly something to learn from and would do a few things differently (next time), but was fun! |

Thanks for the feedback Mark! I do like what you did by cropping more of the foreground out and getting rid of the two rocks. I certainly don't mind you tinkering, everyones taste and processing is different and I like seeing what others do. |

Hi Ed,
Nice shot.
I also prefer the edited color version a bit more than the black and white -- it's a bit more inviting. You mentioned that you struggled with the streetlight and that you were on a tripod. One thing you might try is to take a few exposures at different shutter speeds to expose for each part of the image: one for the streetlight, one for the interior, and perhaps one for the "Bridgewater" sign. I know you mentioned you wanted to keep it in shadows, but I think it might look good with a bit of "light" on it.
This way, you can see if combining in LR or PS would provide the lighting as you'd like. |

HI Paul,
I really like the B&W with the dramatic clouds, overall very nice! One thing I would have done is take a step to the left and separate the hay from the barn directly behind it to try to block the hay on the right side of things. I like what Mark did with the image as well, tightening it up a bit.
There is a lot going on with it and that crop does help to focus on what I think is the main subject. |

Hi Darcy,
I like what you're going for here. I don't know if you had a tripod, if you did, or next time, perhaps you can do a trial and error with slower shutter speeds which would highlight the waterfall and bit more as well as water basin. I like the rocks in the center and the bottom right and think it might be stronger if you perhaps cropped out the greenery on the left side, which would draw the eye more toward the waterfall. |

Hi Kelly,
Love the color on the duck! I have the same question as Paul regarding your cropping. I'd prefer to have the duck shifted to the left of the frame looking into it a bit more rather then more of the field behind it on the left. One other minor thing might be to do a vignette around it to help draw the eye into the featured subject. By darkening the background a bit, it will highlight the subject a bit more.

Hi Mark
Nice image. I really like how you brought out the highlights and warmed it up a bit as well.
I'm sure you already received this feedback, but would be nice to see more on the bottom part of the frame if it was possible given you cropped the sky. I'd also try to crop the far left hoodoo out as I keep going back to it to see the left side of it and it's distracting to my eye.
