43 Jun 25 Reply Thanks, Mark. I love how even current horse-related events can look like they're from times past. Jun 23rd
43 Jun 25 Reply Good catch, Harley. Thanks! Jun 23rd
43 Jun 25 Reply Thanks, Bruce. Not seeing the faces was less than ideal, but the artistic feel of the riders going away from us was worth playing with. Not the photojournalistic shots that the images I got from the other side of the arena, but sometimes it's fun to step outside of my comfort zone. I appreciate you seeing what I was seeing. Jun 17th
43 Jun 25 Reply Thank you, Leo. I'm glad my ideas translated so well. I appreciate your observations. Jun 17th
43 Jun 25 Comment This image really pops, Bruce. For my money, I prefer the understated textures and color blends that you have here. It further exemplifies your point of life not being perfect. If there were a solid background, I think the image would be too static. The orange against the green is very pleasing, and the texture in the berries adds a lot of interest to the image. Jun 17th
43 Jun 25 Comment This is a really creative take on an already stunning scene. The drone really gives is a unique perspective, and the background you added really punches the image up. The whole scene has a very painterly feel, adding to the artistic quality. The concentric lines of the plaza keep my eyes within the image, and the lines you've added on the edges really frame the piece. Nice work, Harley! Jun 17th
43 Jun 25 Comment There is so much to enjoy in this image. The artistic value is only exceeded by the storytelling. The costumes on the monks are rich with color and pattern. The background gives an incredible sense of place, and the faces of the spectators keep the viewer's interest in the frame. You did a great job to include the bags of rice under the table; it completes the story. You shot this with a fisheye, which includes so much of the scene, but you controlled the distortion very well. Stephen is right, it's images like this that embody the international connection that PSA gives us. Well done, Leo! Jun 17th
43 Jun 25 Comment Sometimes the story is what you don't see. This is one of those times. This is a very creative and fun image, Bunny. Your exposure is spot on, and you used depth of field perfectly. Everything that needs to be sharp in the image is sharp, and the bokeh in the background really helps isolate your subject. You controlled the exposure very well. There's detail in your shadows and the highlights throughout the frame are not overwhelming. Way to stay with the image. Your patience paid off! Jun 17th
