43 Sep 23 Comment I really like what you're doing with this image, Mark. The colors, the contrast, the textures all pop. I love the starburst effect you've used in the sphere. It really adds an element to the whole feel. The different textures reflected in the sphere really set the scene. The only suggestion I would make is to give a little room at the bottom of the frame. I know the fabric at the bottom of the box is covering the sphere, but my brain continues the circle along the outside, whether it's visible or not. Work in progress or not, this is a wonderful image! Sep 27th
43 Sep 23 Comment I really like this image, Lane. You've captured a feeling of place and an emotion wonderfully. The color palatte you've chosen is fantastic. The brown from the sand works into the water with the breaking waves as the melting point of the colors. The motion gives the overall scene a serenity and the grain of the image adds to the artisitic capture. Very well done! Sep 10th
43 Sep 23 Comment Leo, this image is magnificent. The composition is marvelous, you've picked the perfect time of day and angle for this, and the exposure is exactly right. The orange from the sky goes perfectly with the sails on the boat, and the purple carries through the image from the water to the buildings to the darker parts of the sky. I would not change a thing.
