I'd first like to compliment you on getting the subject to sit still. Chasing an osprey around, trying to get him to stay put, can be frustrating. How I know this isn't important. I like the detail and pose on our friend here. The only improvement I'd offer would be a little more in the way of surroundings. I'd be curious to see what the other branches look like, or maybe some clouds behind. Great image. |

I really like the idea of this image, and the black and white treatment. I agree that it's a little over sharpened. I like the blur shown in the lampposts. It gives the image a fine art feel. I wonder if taking that blur throughout the frame would help? Nice feel in this image. |

You're not the only one it's difficult for. There is a lot to this image, and your efforts paid off. There are so many elements at work here, it takes a little while to look around the frame and take it all in. You've really outdone yourself. The colors and detail are quite striking and tell a dramatic story! |

This image really grabbed me. The detail and colors are exquisite. I love the fog effect, and the reflection was well handled. Very serene. Well done! |

This image is wonderful. The framing elements and leading lines are very strong. I also really like the texture of the rocks inside the cave. If I had a magic wand and could fix anything, I'd make the silhouette a little bigger in the image, but that's about the only change I'd make. The lighting and colors are very rich and wonderful. Well done!

I appreciate the thoughts from everyone. This is a living breathing image, and I'm still working on it. I'm also totally in favor of going out to improve on it in the field. This area is incredible. Any excuse to return is a good one. Thank you for the input. |
