Kathy, lovely image - the Mama duck seems to be smiling. The composition is really pleasing to the eye and the little duckling following their mother are very very cute. |

Sarita, this is a beautiful image. Super sharp and very nice composition and colors. Your capture is so natural that I almost hear the little bird singing… |

Jerry this is a remarkable image. I am impressed you managed to get such a sharp image. I have tried to take photos of woodpeckers and they never seem to stand still! |

Cheryl, great image. Not much to add to comments by others. I would indeed crop a bit closer to minimize the white background . And if you have another chance, try a higher f stop as others commented. |

Carol what a gorgeous and interesting flower to discover through your lens!I think you got an amazing result given the circumstances. The softness add to the artistic image and does not bother me in this case. And thanks for sharing the challenges with deciding on which settings to use. |

John, the combination of colors is amazing. Also the texture looks almost as a painting. I agree with others that maybe you should rethink composition as it now looks very busy, and also that it is a pity that the bottom part is cut off. |

Pat, interesting subject. When I first saw it I had no idea what it was.I really like the colors and the texture. And it looks very sharp throughout. I agree that it is a bit on the dark side. |

Stuart, your image is one of the reasons I love macro. You get close and strange and surprising things happen. I really like the composition of the feather trapped within the unidentified object. I also agree on the horizontal framing comments. |

Wow Margaret I love this image. I have never used a UV flashlight but I agree you are an inspiration. The flower floats in the background and I really like the color combination. |
