It is a beautiful image, I really like the colorful heads. The composition of them going different directions is very pleasing and gives a sense of movement to the image. I agree with Isaac's tighter crop. |

Sarita great combination of photography and narrative. Wonderful image showing the interaction. It is sharp and the blue and green background colors enhance the image I think. |

Very interesting bird with the red patch - I had never seen it. I agree on cropping the image a bit. I also think it is still a bit soft even after Topaz, particularly on the white feathers. Maybe you can denoise it a bit more. |

Jetty, great photo. To me the facial expression is the highlight of the photo. So I do agree that some cropping to focus more on the part of the image would enhance it. |

Gerhard, great image - it is so hard to catch a bird with the prey in its mouth!!! I also like the colors of the composition with the terrain matching the browns of the bird. A technical question as I begin to try taking shots of birds in flight - I thought that when you are shooting birds in movement time value versus aperture priority was recommended - to ensure freezing the action. But I do like that here you have the body of the bird and the fish very sharp and the wings showing the movement. Thanks! |

Wow Cheryl I love this image. Definitely the perfect title! I love the colors and the way the bubbles are so sharp too. The dark background works very well. You are very creative and looking forward to learning from you. |

Carol, I really like the texture and the color combination. I also really like the angle of the composition - to me the flowers looked like they were floating - I only noticed the stem after reading your comments. It is fascinating to learn about creating your own backgrounds - thanks for the details. The flowers are so nice that maybe you could crop closer and showcase them even more. |

Hi, the colors of the petals with the red and white patches are very nice, but I agree with all comments on the need for cropping and focusing on the core of the flower. I also like Cheryl's version. |

Stuart, I agree with others - quite a result given the difficult subject. I really like the second version of the open wings image - it is more interesting to me. On the initial image you presented, I found the face very interesting - looks to me like a mini skull. |

Love it - looks like a painting. And the blue tint really enhances it, as others have mentioned. I guess you took the shot handheld - which is impressive to me - particularly at 1/80. I have same camera and lens but find it hard to achieve such sharpness. |
