95 Oct 23 Reply Thanks Pat for the suggestion, I kept the shell so I can try it out Oct 22nd
95 Oct 23 Comment Tom, what an interesting image. Even if a bit dark , it truly has a 3D quality as Stuart noted. The sharpness and detail are remarkable. Oct 20th
95 Oct 23 Comment At first looked like a landscape photo of maybe a canyon! The textures are very interesting and sharp. I wonder if you could have gone even closer. Oct 20th
95 Oct 23 Comment Such a great image Stuart. The pods seem to be dancing... And I like the way the image is reflected in the window. And you have now convinced me of the usefulness of stacking and using helicon focus! Oct 20th
95 Oct 23 Comment Fran, very nice image - the combination of colors is very pleasing to the eye. Very sharp. I really like the composition too. Oct 20th
95 Oct 23 Comment Hi Carol, pretty amazing capture. You must have a very steady hand. Very impressive with the iPhone. When I first saw the image I would never have thought it was with a cell phone. I need to try it more - I always feel that it would not be good enough - particularly for macro shots. I am also interested in learning more about the Speakers' bureau. Oct 20th

96 Oct 23 Comment Hi Robert, The image has potential - I like the different shades of green and the floating clouds/mist. I also like very much the depth you created with compositions of the trees. As others have mentioned the colors are muted in the screen and the center part seems a bit overexposed. I think Bob's version is going in the right direction. Oct 20th
96 Oct 23 Reply Thanks Bob - I was also mesmerized by the shapes. Oct 20th
96 Oct 23 Reply Thank you Haru, it is a very remote place so it hard to get something in the horizon to give the sense of scale! Oct 20th
96 Oct 23 Comment Hi Haru, I personally love it. When I saw it, I felt it was a painting. To my eyes, in its simplicity, it has a wow factor. What lens did you use and what type of editing? Oct 14th
96 Oct 23 Comment Hi Bob, sending you wishes for a fast recovery. I really like your image - seems we share a lighthouse interest! The hues of blue are very nice and I like what you did with the latest version in 5x7 crop. I also like the storytelling of the power of the ocean and lighthouse that has seen better days. It is definitely more than just a "I was there" image.. The one thing is that the image does not look very sharp at least on my screen - maybe your original one is sharper, just in case you wanted o print it and make it larger. Oct 14th
96 Oct 23 Comment Thank you Robert. Thanks for your comments, and I can see your point on focusing on just one of the clouds. Oct 14th
