Tom, what an interesting image. Even if a bit dark , it truly has a 3D quality as Stuart noted. The sharpness and detail are remarkable. |

At first looked like a landscape photo of maybe a canyon! The textures are very interesting and sharp. I wonder if you could have gone even closer. |

Such a great image Stuart. The pods seem to be dancing... And I like the way the image is reflected in the window. And you have now convinced me of the usefulness of stacking and using helicon focus! |

Hi Carol, pretty amazing capture. You must have a very steady hand. Very impressive with the iPhone. When I first saw the image I would never have thought it was with a cell phone. I need to try it more - I always feel that it would not be good enough - particularly for macro shots. I am also interested in learning more about the Speakers' bureau. |

Hi Robert, The image has potential - I like the different shades of green and the floating clouds/mist. I also like very much the depth you created with compositions of the trees. As others have mentioned the colors are muted in the screen and the center part seems a bit overexposed. I think Bob's version is going in the right direction. |

Thank you Haru, it is a very remote place so it hard to get something in the horizon to give the sense of scale! |

Hi Haru, I personally love it. When I saw it, I felt it was a painting. To my eyes, in its simplicity, it has a wow factor. What lens did you use and what type of editing? |

Hi Bob, sending you wishes for a fast recovery. I really like your image - seems we share a lighthouse interest! The hues of blue are very nice and I like what you did with the latest version in 5x7 crop. I also like the storytelling of the power of the ocean and lighthouse that has seen better days. It is definitely more than just a "I was there" image.. The one thing is that the image does not look very sharp at least on my screen - maybe your original one is sharper, just in case you wanted o print it and make it larger. |

Thank you Robert. Thanks for your comments, and I can see your point on focusing on just one of the clouds. |
