That's a really good head shot for this Tom. Head and neck are super crisp. He must have been pretty close! I'm surprised they're showing mating behavior this early, but...they're turkeys. Bright sunshine really brings out the iridescence in the feathers. |

Great trio of shots. I think you must have had to pan upwards to get all three shots, quick though the burst was. In an ideal scenario...unachievable probably... the perspective would have been the same in all 3 such that the edges of the dam were level. Maybe the focal length and the cropping demanded otherwise.Just a thought. Nevertheless a great set of shots. |

I like the featureless snowy background. The mind's eye knows it's snow, and the snow on her beak confirms it. This is probably an accurate representation of the bird's actual colors, but maybe a little more saturation would be good. A similar picture of a male would be a great companion piece. Maybe you can get one this winter... |

Great image. The petals are translucent enough to convey the light. My light box doesn't seem to be as bright. I like Bob's ideas |

Great colors, just dreamy. If this was Florida, I'd suspect that item above the right hand goose was a gator! |

I'm surprised just how similar they are too. Govt. cookie cutter lighthouses! |
