Good point. I will definitely include the band if another opportunity arises. Thanks |

I agree. I like the bird but not the hand. Thanks. |

I agree Gabriele. Even when captive for just a few minutes, I know the bird is distressed, and this troubles me. I feel even more dismay when birds strike windows and skyscrapers.
I hope birds' greater good is had by the knowledge acquired by banding. |

That's a great shot. I've only seen one of this species, and it was a female. This male's plumage is so much more dramatic, along with the attitude. Maybe the upright stick could be erased or reduced in height so as not to distract. |

I like Tom's adjustments of this quirky photo. "Duckworth Tires" immediately comes to mind. |

It's a great shot, super sharp. Ideal FOV. I guess this is an immature white ibis.. |

I see the disadvantage the pano format imparts. My initial impression of the image as I processed it was more favorable...it seemed more mysterious ,and the cypress branches took on a sort of unearthly shine and angularity. Oh well...I think I'm going to revisit that very pretty stream and lay off the Topaz meddling! Thanks! |

Yes, I agree, the size changed things a lot. The grass is actually water vegetation but that is definitely not clear in my image. Thanks! |

Really creative. Only other comment is the azalea stamens coming out of the dragonfly's head look like displaced antenna, and these might be erased. |

That's really cool. How did you create the radial symetry? |

Now that is a unique view of the fair! If memory serves, the ride is called a space wheel. I've ridden on a few of these. Now I wish I had had a camera to photo the riders from the inside.
I believe the subject would gain a little contextual recognition if the background (tents, etc.) was lightened up. |

What a great shot. Perfect sharpness/dof for these 3 subjects. Maybe the upper left corner could be vignetted out or contextually erased? |
