No ruthlessness noted. You are totally correct. I selected this pic only because of the dubious humor and absurdity. However, the images should be technically good and compositionally pleasing. Thank you! |

Great shot at 50 meters. That lens really reached out. The bird's tail wound up being out to the frame, a minor misfortune. I believe it is a Cooper's Hawk, but is there a hint of red at the shoulder? I'm interested to learn if others think its a Red Shouldered Hawk. |

That's a super sharp picture of an egret doing his thing. I don't think I've ever seen a reddish egret; gotta try Ft. DeSoto. This is nit picking, but one might consider cloning out the water droplets at the bird's crown and breast. |

What a great image! Look at those blue feet! The overall image reminds me of a Singh-Ray Blue/Gold filter, which is so pleasing IMHO. Maybe the Nik filters made it so.
And in a cave, no less.
Could be a promo picture for birding in the Galapagos.

I believe it's the Greek poet. Not Springfield's nuclear engineer. |

Good plan for the micro falls. That rock does draw the eye. I realize it was under water, but I think an observer might want this item to be sharp, as the more detailed rocks on the right are. (impossible). I imagine you enjoyed a lot of time getting these smaller views, experimenting with shutter speeds for the water motion, etc. Good job going against the flow! |

I love what you do with the Lightbox. Weeds never looked better. Do you use a rail for the focus bracketing? |

Great capture and great title. I think that's Homer back there watching them from a different perspective. |
