the grass does not bother too me much. the face of the subject is in deep shadow and the body of the subject is the brightest object in the image. |

nice capture. the vignette helps to bring the eye to the center. Agree with comments about soft focus, what was your focal length? general rule of thumb for sharpness is 1 / focal length. |

Thank you all for the comments. That's exactly what I need. I have made the edits, but unfortunately I cut off the sky. lesson learned for next time! I see how the clutter is removed making for a clearer picture. |
