Thanks, Stuart.. Was trying to see if it's justified for the investment of Topaz Denoise AI. It would be nice if we could control the iso on most shots.. which sometimes not quite possible. |

Hey Carol, very nice shot of the glass butterfly. It blends in so well (sharp subject and soft background of flowers). Looking at the back wing, it looks true that the flash did fire. But amazingly it does still produce bokeh image of the flowers without harsh shadow or over-exposure. Love it. |

Hi Pat, great work on rail stacking. I use rail when using D750, and got lazy when using D850, which does in-camera focus stacking. It would be interesting to compare the outcome of both. |

Nicely done, Stuart. Just wondering.. Do you always apply Topaz denoise, even such as this shot taken under bright direct sunlight? Just wondering how much the denoise AI has helped in such condition..? |

Love the pattern and the gradual change of colour. The slightly blurred top portion does not bother me. It is probably due to the sliding angle so the slightly longer depth causes the focus a bit soft. The clean background is impressive. |

Right Pat. Like Carol suggested, it would be a more attractive shot by making the shot in a parallel plane, then use focus stacking much closer. I imagine the much closer stacked shot would show a more interesting plane of red lotus dots with shadow. Too bad didn't have my macro lens with me that day. :-(

Same here, Gloria. Yeah, I kind of dare not doing focus stacking while outdoor. Will definitely try that some time.. |
