Thanks, Pat.
Yes, I was thinking (or maybe / should have done) to either duplicating those 3 dots of reflections (to make it a line to lead in) or simply removing them.. The overall structure may be cleaner.. I am also learning along the way.
Nice to hearing opinions from others.. As I usually miss some key points during post-processing. |

Thanks, Carol.
Good point on the hard shadow. On this one, the light source was the Sun.. It was so bright that it cast pretty hard shadow onto the petals. It's usually not able to have a helper to hold something to diffuse the hard sunlight. This is something to keep in mind. I guess easiest is to capture early in the morning instead. |

Hi Stuart, thanks for the comments and suggestion. I think your suggestion of flipping horizontally is a very good point. It would look a better flow for the eye-sight. Please see the outcome. I have also cloned out the 2 blotches on the (now lower right) petal. Good eye.
Any comment on this newer version? |

Got it. Agreed.
This original image gives us a more interesting view of the caterpillar. |

As an audience of this image, I feel that both the pink flower and the yellow bee are fighting for my attention. The middle part of the flower and the insect are both in focus; however I feel that you may want to find a way to separate their attractiveness to be the main subject..? The blurred green background also helps. |

Great angle showing both the caterpillar's head and the flower are in focus, which is the objective of the image (I guess?). Nice bright colour and blur background help it standing out. Good job!
Question: Bet you posted a wrong original image? I was wondering how you can create the final image with the posted original. |
