Normally I do not like mono chromatic images with a splash of colour. BUT in this case it works brilliantly. The storminess of the water and clouds is perfect and then that little muted colour pice is brilliant. Love this. Could easily hang on anybody's wall. |

Thanks for your kind comments. Paul this works like this. You setup the camera around 11pm take the two images with the tree light. Then you setup the camera to take images every35s using the intervalometer. You then leave and go and sit in camp with a glass of red wine around the camp fire. Roughly 1am you return with no lights on the vehicle and no torches. And you switch off the camera and pack up. Next morning your put is all together. It takes roughly an hour to get the image to this stage in photoshop.

The image is made up of 299 individual images. The image faces straight north (obviously in the southern hemisphere). It is different from the normal startrails as it is normally taken straight south yielding a circle |

Very interesting peak into the image. The tree on the left is good. The dying bird makes the image interesting. The dimmed soft light suits the image |

Love the textures and colour in the image. It has a very surreal look to it. Well done |

The images has nice mood because of the texture and haziness. I do however think the image lacks a bit of sharpness and contrast |
