Hi Lin. Thanks for the kind comments. Two things happened here. Firstly there was a 3 stop Graduated ND alter over the sky. That darkened that. It then allowed me to over expose a bit to expose for some of the darker shadows. Thirdly with this green water and white foam you gets lots of light reflects in the rocks. I just enhanced that a bit further in PS. |

Thanks for your positive feedback. I have not tried this one yet. But similar ones of the day have done well. |

Hi Paul. lovely image of Scotland as I saw it as well when I visited. Clous an misty ness is great. I am not overly fond of the grass at the bottom. Maybe because the bases have been cropped. But its not always possible to get them all in. lovely body image |

Just as they other mentioned I have also seen this scene many times. I love this one for its calmness and subtle paste colours. I have not seen many in this kin of light. Love it |

Wow Arief. Beautiful scene. I guess it is people ascending the mountain the you see at the bottom. I like that inclusion. I would like to suggest that you add a curves layer to the edit and drag your darker mid tones down slightly. that will give your image a grade increase in contrast. See example. But apart from that very good |

A lovely mono image, of this scene. I aso think it is a brilliant subject for mono. Almost have a bit of an infrared feel to it. My only nit is the tree that comes in on the left. But in defence I would probably say that it was impossible to get a clean crop where you do not have trees peaking in. But the one suggestion to give a bit more space on the left is probably not the worst idea |

Marlyn, it is indeed n interesting image. Pease show us the church at some stage. I love that scene int he move. But Like you said: "Darn no you wil have to back" :) Paul summed it up quite weel. The main are of concern where the images breaks down for me is the sky. There is a lot of pixelation which is probably due to the under exposure. I am happy that you might have the chance to go back. |

lovely image in. one the majestic feel of the mountains an the small pice of water. Since you have lots of Shutterspeeds to burn I woud have suggested an F8 or F11 for a bit more depth of fie. An as mentioned a bit more contrast wil give it a bit more punch. But lovely image as it is |
