Thank you, John, my feet were cold and wet for a while, but I'll go back and try again next summer. |

Hi Barbara - a perfect day to be out with the camera. You captured the beautiful fall tones in the trees, which is hard to do on a sunny day. I agree with Cindy's comment about bringing out the shadows. I also wonder what this would look like as a 16x9, pano-like image with the sky cropped out. |

Hi Norm, This is a wonderful image. Beautiful colors, great textures and lines all leading the eye to that spectacular sunrise. Thank you for getting up early and sharing this with us!

Hi Stan, You captured the moment beautifully. The silhouetted person gives perspective and adds intimacy to the scene. One tiny nit - I am distracted by the upright tree limb (I think that's what it is) on the beach. Beautiful tones, and the birds are a nice additional touch. |

Hi Harriet, what a wonderful capture of sweet-faced Luke! If you use Lightroom or Photoshop, I'd add shadows to the tree behind Luke, or lighten the tips of his mane to enhance it a little more, and maybe bring up the shadows in his ears. |

Hi John, This is a lovely image, great texture on the feathers, I'm instantly drawn to the bird's gorgeous eye. I agree with the above suggestions. If straightening the image makes the crop too close on the tail feathers, you may want to consider adding a vignette. |
