Frans, I think you are being too hard on yourself. I think all would agree that when we are reviewing an image on a computer monitor, we see things we would/could have done differently. You captured an intriguing image with the equipment you had, and although you have regrets about that, you have an image to remind you of the scene that caught your attention. |

Pierre...I can FEEL how cold the morning was by just looking at the photo. The colors really pick up the dawn light. I wish I could see more of the rock formation on the right edge, or even if possible used it as your foreground. You certainly captured what you were feeling that morning. |

Ellen, as I said in my photo post, I LOVE foggy images! I wonder if this is from around the Sequim area? I think the main thing your image lacks is a foreground element. I struggle with that as well. I have found that I need to take more time to look around, maybe there's a tree or rock formation. |
