I think you did a very nice job in framing the tranquil scene. Per Pierre's comment, maybe the new sky tool in LR would allow you to bring up the horizon a little more? I would love to shoot this image! |

This is a really beautiful image. I, too have sometimes captured a star effect when I did not expect to at the aperture I was shooting. I hope someone has an explanation for that. You really got nice sharp star points and the moon was captured nicely. There is a tiny light spec in the lower left corner that draws my eye and could be removed. Although you weren't shooting at a super wide angle, there appears to be some distortion in the cactus on the right edge. I like the composition, with the shape of the midground hills leading the eye up. |

I love the sky selection tool in LR and can see how useful it was in editing this image. I am assuming that adjustment defined the background mountains as well. It is a challenging image with such light contrast. The foreground trees/shrubs seem a little too warm. I think I would trying reducing the color warmth in that area, and bringing up the shadows in the crevasse of the right mountain. A difficult image for process and I think you handled it well. |

What a beautiful structure, and I like your composition and the line leading the eye to the building. From my point of view, I feel the image would be more pleasing if less saturated. |
