I love the color and symmetry (well, almost symmetrical--the top and bottom are slightly different!). I see Bob's point about the side "borders" but not sure if they should be removed. They don't bother me, but it might be interesting to try his suggestion. |

Beautiful spot, makes me want to go there! That orange ribbon in the sky is nice but it distracts me--my eye goes to that first. I am not sure it would work to remove it, but possibly play it down a bit? Also, the overall tone seems a bit cool (blue) to me--might play with the color balance just a bit. |

I like the story and I think the processing is very good. The darkness matches the scene. Bob's example with the brighter face looks good as well, although to me the face in the original pulls me right in so doesn't really have to be brighter. I think both ways work very well. |

I like the impact, definitely has more than the original. I think it is a bit overdone though--the colors in the sky perhaps a bit too saturated or dark. Maybe if the blue areas of the sky were a bit less gray and maybe a little lighter? |

That would have been a great idea! I could have asked them to turn on the pump, but obviously didn't think of it at the time. |
