pretty in pink. so even the fly looks pink - wings look pink. at first I thought the white was too bright but I have looked at it a couple of times and I am getting use to it. it look very soft & abstract but I can see it is petals. I do like that it was not cropped in more or you would loose the pink and it might end up all white background. I understand the "impossible to stack". when I go out just getting one photo of a moving insect is hard enough. |

regardless of how macro it is... I love it. I consider it a whole project to work with water drops and get the images in the drops. maybe the macro shot would just be the big droplet with the web out of focus , unless you are stacking. |

first, fascinating and beautiful flower you have there. main red part is beautiful, nice red. iwth that top cut off the knee jerk reaction is to day shoot it vertical. when looking at the original horizontal I like it even though it appears small , but as original it appears to be floating more and have more environment that I think is nice looking. so 2 ways of shooting this flower will work. I like the background lighter green in the original. in the cropped version the front leaf seems too dark and bit unnatural green/shadow. |

it is a beautiful flower/stem. instead of wanting to see the flower, i am assumming it is the detail of the stalk with all the pointed little hairs that is the main character... the blue flower always gets to be the main event. here the sharpness of the hairs/fuzz of the stem and buds is the main event. then the 4-5 unopened buds get the attention with hair/fuzz on them. so I think it is good that the blue flowers are tilted away. to me it looks like good job that you got most of the fuzz/4buds in focus. I think I have those flowers here and I did not notice the fuzz - you make me want to look and compare now. |

forgot to add... iso 100, 1/500, f14. I just went outside to shoot knowing I was not stacking. in real light I think it looked yellow and pink to me. |
