Hi Marilyn, you have capture a great moment of intimacy whit these colorful parrots, framing them tightly to center all the attention on that moment. The blurred background contributes to the image by avoiding distractions. I really like the contrast in colours and the fact that you can see the eyes of the two parrots.

Hi Lisa, I apologize for the delay in my comments this month. Moving from Australia to Spain is a big job, and it hasn't left me enough time to sit and enjoy your images.
I really enjoy the light illuminating the egret and the nice reflection on the water. However, I find that the centered composition feels a bit static. I suggest experimenting with different crops, placing the egret on the left side.

Hi Bruce, You've mastered this composition, creating a very engaging image. Placing the girl in the foreground makes her the center of attention, which is beautifully balanced with the masculine figure in the background. The light treatment is just exquisite.

Hi David, thank you for your suggestion about the crop. I agree-the lower part of the image is a bit distracting, and a tighter crop helps focus more on the flower. |

Hi Shirley, the quality of this image is amazing, especially given how well it has aged. The colours and composition work beautifully, and the background colour and texture nicely frame the flower.

Hi Isaac,
I apologize for my delay in commenting this month. I'm currently in the middle of moving back to Spain after twelve years living in Australia, so I haven't had much time to sit and enjoy this month's images.
I really enjoy this image; the group of elephants wrapping around the tree and their poses create a lovely scene. I can see that you've worked on darkening the background to enhance the visual separation from the elephants. However, some areas have been missed and could use revision to reduce the visual contrast in light.

Hi Adrian, your image conveys a powerful story that showcases climate change effectively. Placing the block of ice in the foreground reinforces that idea. The composition is strong, and the light is well managed. |

Hi Barbara, I really like how you've captured this Emu. The image showcases the details of the Emu's feathers and eye beautifully. I'd suggest reducing the light in the lower part of the background, as the highlights draw attention; otherwise, it's a fantastic image of an Emu! |

Hi Bruce, this image of the pronghorn in its environment is well-captured, with the pronghorn standing out nicely against the surroundings due to the sharpness and detail of the animal. The colours are very appealing and create a beautiful contrast. If I could suggest one improvement, I'd recommend cropping a bit off the top of the image to place the pronghorn on the thirds-it could enhance the composition even further. |
