Thank Marilyn for your suggestion, I totally agree with you all the red colour is a bit distracting. It has the eyes close as I think that it was enjoying the moment. |

Hi Marilyn, Great capture of this couple of ospreys. I am a big fan of these birds.
You have done a really good work bringing them close and retaining all the detail and sharpness. I usually don't change skies but I agree that it makes your image more interesting and pleasant. My only suggestion is about the blue cast that the birds have in the white feathers |

Hi Sylvia, Mute Swans are a beautiful birds but their white feathers are difficult to capture without burn them out.
I agree with the cropping suggestion and I will darken a little the refection in the water to create a little more separation and I'll try to recover some information in the white feathers if it will be possible. |

Hi Jack, Your image is so lovely telling us about the nature and the way that these birds rise their chicks. Personally I don't have any problem with the crop, the story is about the chick and the big fish in its mouth.
I found that my bird photography improved a lot when I started to look for lower angles that allow to have an eye contact or at least eye level view, but this is not always easy to do. |

Hi Richard, thanks for your comment I agree with you and Tom about the red colour, I didn't remove it because of the nature rules but as this is not a competition I should have cropped it taking the colour out. |

Hi Lisa, I like the way you have presented this image. You really did a good work isolating the bird from the vegetation and still having plenty of detail on the fine feathers.
Thanks for sharing with us the steps that you have follow to achieve this result.
I also like the flip I think that it works very well . |

Hi Brad, I love this image, the story and the mute colours only with a patch of red to add a point of interest and contrast.
You have integrate the statues so well in the scene that seems the tree is growing from the man's body. |

Hi Kirsti, this is another fantastic story that you have presented so well I can see how the girl is working with the gold threats. I congratulate to you for having the idea and look for the elements to complete it.
I like the two versions but I find that the threats in the alternative version look more like flowing through the hands,. I like the girl face so concentrate in the work. |

Hi Aavo, you have achieved a much better result in this month's image. I agree with Kirsti and Brad about the filter on the people and I find that you got better results applying it on the man that in the woman. I would suggest to try another place for her or remove totally from the image |

Hi Peggy, Lovely image with beautiful story.
Thanks for explaining so well how you made it.
I really like the colour palette and the painting finish in the bird I would like to see the same effect in the squirrel.
I Played a little with the image to see if it got that result for the squirrel, for it I have applied a cezanne filter in Topaz studio and with a mask I only applied it to the squirrel.

I wasn't sure about if I have resolved well the horizon, I wanted to suggest a distant horizon introducing it into the frame like ghostly apparition. |

Your image has beautiful colours and as the other said the water drops caught my attention. I totally agree with the comments about the crop and the sharpness.

Hi Jodi, congratulations for your new lens, you will love it for sure. As the others said take it with you and practice as much as possible you will see that soon you will get amazing images.
I like your first attempt even that is a lot of room for improvement. My advise is that before press the shutter look for the background that you really like, it will be a big difference in the result. |

Hi Fran, Beautiful image of this Lily, the edition really enhance the flower. I like the dark background and I agree with Dick about the brightness in the flower. When I take photos of the flowers in a very bright day I often use a diffuser to avoid the hight contrast between light and shadows |

Hi Isaac, Lovely portrait of this relaxed baboon having breakfast. I love the visual contact with the viewer and the detail of its fur. It was a pity that the background was so close to the baboon and it results in a so detail pattern. It will be perfect with blur background . |

Hi Adrian, Wonderful place that I really like to visit one day if it will be possible.
I like the sense of perspective with the three fingers and the leading line of the road. I agree with the others that the image is a little too bright I have also liked the Isaac edition. |

Hi Marie, you will enjoy your new camera! I like your image it is pin sharp and with beautiful colours, I also suggest a closer crop to emphasise the story about the bee collecting nectar.
In the moment that you have an insect in your image is never more an image of a flower, the insect becomes the hero so make it more the center of attention.
I really like your second shot, the bee is more prominent and the flower still remains as an important part of the image with plenty of details in the two. |

Hi Barbara, beautiful image of a female Elk, i like who you have frame her between the grasses but I have to agree with the others about the colour of the grass It look a bit washed out, I like the Isaac version with more deeper greens.

Hi Bruce, nice capture of this Elk that shows us how wild animals are more and more used to humans that we have started to sharing habitats, wild animals have found that cities are a easy place for hiding or for finding food and their presence in human areas are more and more habitual. |
